By accessing or using SatKarya ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

SatKarya is a mental health support platform that provides:

• Anonymous community sharing and support
• AI-powered companion (Manas) for emotional support
• Private encrypted diary
• Mental wellness exercises
• Crisis resources

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SatKarya. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent.

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You agree to notify us of any unauthorized access
• One account per person; multiple accounts may be terminated
• Usernames must not impersonate others or contain offensive content

5. Community Guidelines

When using SatKarya, you agree NOT to:

• Share content promoting self-harm, suicide methods, or violence
• Harass, bully, or threaten other users
• Post hate speech, discrimination, or offensive content
• Share personal information of others without consent
• Spam, advertise, or promote products/services
• Attempt to circumvent content moderation or AI safety measures
• Impersonate mental health professionals
• Share false or harmful mental health advice
• Use the platform for illegal activities

Violation of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.

6. Content Ownership & License

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create. By posting on SatKarya, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and moderate your content on the platform.

Platform Content

The SatKarya platform, including its design, features, and AI systems, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without permission.

7. AI Companion (Manas)

Manas is an AI-powered companion designed to provide emotional support. By using Manas, you understand that:

• Manas is NOT a licensed therapist or medical professional
• Responses are generated by AI and may not always be appropriate
• Manas cannot diagnose or treat mental health conditions
• For serious concerns, seek professional help
• We are not liable for AI-generated content

8. Privacy & Data

Your use of SatKarya is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to data collection and processing as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Moderation & Safety

We reserve the right to:

• Review, edit, or remove content that violates our guidelines
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate terms
• Report illegal activity to law enforcement
• Contact emergency services if we detect imminent danger
• Use AI and human moderation to maintain community safety

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

SatKarya is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy of AI-generated content
• That the platform will meet all your needs
• Results from using our wellness exercises

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SatKarya and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the platform.

We are not responsible for actions taken based on AI companion advice or community content.

SatKarya may detect crisis language and provide resources, but this is not a substitute for professional emergency response.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of SatKarya after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
